Continued Experimentation

Here we are once again.  For the second time I am posting a new song.  With the earlier problems still unresolved this next one is still all virtual instruments.  I have continued to experiment with what GarageBand has to offer.  It is a surprising what this free program can do.  It has almost an infinite amount of sounds to make with all the adjustments that one can add to each sound.  I will say this though, the drum kits…horrible.  There is absolutely no way that someone could mash out a beat using a keyboard in proper time.  Maybe if there were a drum machine option in which it would constantly, in time, hit each note that was choosen then the drum kits would worth something.  It does make availble pre-recorded drum beat loops but I feel like I am cheating every time I start to use one.  Even still there is a challenge to using the computer keyboard to compose a music number.  Frustrating and fun at the same time.

Anyway, here it is.  Let me know what you think.  If you are out there…

Thought on the track:  This is like a follow up to the first song.  Space, in general was a theme.  It could easily be on an astronaut’s playlist.  Though, both songs are a little more contemplative but active at the same time.  It’s like the echo that one would recieve back from the universe after hitting a single note.  It returns with multiple parts and harmonies. (I do realize there is no sound in space because of the lack of air)
